Patriot missiles: A matter of time?
The long-talked about US Patriot battery has finally arrived in Poland as part of the plans to bolster the NATO ally’s air defence system.
The battery is set to be stationed in the small northern town of Morag, approximately 60 km from Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad, for one month at a time, four times a year the US embassy confirmed.
Around 150 American troops will be stationed at the military base in order to man the battery which arrived earlier this week. A total of 37 railway wagons were required to transport the equipment.
