Officers from Zgierz are attending the course
Police officers in the town of Zgierz are being sent on a training course to help them learn about homosexuality.
The workshops, entitled ‘Homophobia and Hetero-norm’, aim to teach the cops about basic concepts such as the sex lives and stereotypes, as well as looking at statistics regarding violent behaviour aimed at homosexuals.
According to statistics, over half of gay people have been verbally abused and around 20 percent have experienced physical violence. However, only 15 percent of such cases are ever officially reported to the police. ...
