Koscielny could be on his way to the Gunners
Arsene Wenger is looking at signing Laurent Koscielny from French side Lorient in a deal worth GBP 8 mln. Wenger’s eye has been caught by the 24-year-old defender’s performances this season, in which he has also been noticed by Poland’s national trainer Franciszek Smuda. French-born Koscielny has a Polish grandfather and is keen to represent Poland at international level. He has even already gathered the papers to apply for Polish citizenship.
