Poland is stepping up its security for the UEFA 2012 cup
Poland’s border control security is getting geared up for the 2012 UEFA football championship by fitting buses with a new device to help check ID cards and passports.
In an attempt to help curb the number of hooligans, thugs and troublemakers entering the country, authorities are preparing over 20 buses, specially fitted-out with an anti-counterfeit scanner, by UK’s Foster + Freeman.
The ‘VSC4 Plus’ is able to identify dodgy identification documents in seconds, aiding police and border guards more efficiently than ever before.
