A seventeen-year-old school pupil was awarded a prize by the president of Kielce after her prompt action saved a pedestrian who was hit by a car this Tuesday. The slight teenager was walking home when she noticed the accident. “The man was lying there, bleeding heavily, people were standing around, but nobody was helping,” Klaudia told reporters.“I said I was a first-aider and asked for a first aid box. One was found pretty quickly. I checked the injured man had no broken bones, put him in the recovery position, because he was choking on blood, and stemmed the wound on the back of his head.”
