Kaczynski inches closer
Jaroslaw Kaczynski has continued to eat into the lead of his main rival for the presidency, adding a bit of zest to a lacklustre election campaign overshadowed by the widespread flooding.
An opinion poll by Homo Homini gave the Law and Justice (PiS) candidate 35.8 percent, just 6 percent behind Bronislaw Komorowski, the Civic Platform (PO) candidate, and acting head of state, following the death of President Lech Kaczynski in the Smolensk disaster.
