The committee has put pressure on concert organisers to ban Doda from performing
An organisation that claims to protect people against sects has started a campaign to get concerts by controversial pop star Doda cancelled owing to her “blasphemous” behaviour.
The National Committee for the Defence Against Sects has exerted pressure on two town councils in an effort to make them pull the plug on the shows in case the singer, famed for performing in minimal clothing, repeats comments she once made about the Bible.
In a television interview Doda, or Dorota Rabczewska to use her full name, said that the Bible was written by drunks and people with a fondness for “herbal cigarettes”.
