Three thousand portions of amphetamine were discovered by police this week during a routine check, hidden in a packet of crisps. Officers from Jawor pulled over a Citroen with three passengers aged 28,30 and 33-years old, in it. Police became suspicious of the three and carried out a full search of the vehicle, discovering the portions of amphetamine hidden in an empty crisp packet in the boot.

The three men are in police custody while officers investigate the source of the drugs and where they were to be sold. The arrests are a further success for Jawor police, who have already seized seven thousand portions of amphetamine and marihuana this year. The men face anything from three to ten ye ...
