An Opole court sentenced two brothers to fifteen and twenty-five year prison sentences for a brutal murder they committed in February 2009, because their victim, “Had nice boots.” The murder of Marek Medynski by 28-year-old Tomasz and his 16-year-old younger brother Ryszard M. was the culmination of an escalating crime spree lasting two months, immediately after the older of the two was released on parole in January 2009.
