The town of Police is witnessing a 'modern day plague'
Residents in the North West of Poland are on alert after their town became overrun with rats in a modern-day plague.
Citizens of a small town near Szczecin called Police, have been forced to stand by helplessly as thousands of rodents swarm the streets and authorities have warned people to keep their distance from those both alive, and dead.
But while officials have teamed up with the local Department of Sewage and Water, it seems that so far, they are fighting a losing battle.
