Two men, including a soldier in the Airborne Battalion, have been arrested for attacking a man with the intention to kill.

Military man Mateusz P. and Piotr W. were both involved in the incident in which Piotr W. stabbed his girlfriend’s former partner with a machete, injuring him severely and putting him in hospital. Mateusz P. is then thought to have attacked the victim with a telescopic baton.

If found guilty of attempted murder, the two may face life imprisonment.
