The pilots decided to make an emergency landing
A LOT Airlines plane flying from Warsaw to Budapest was forced to perform an emergency landing after fears of a fire in its holding area.
After noticing the sensor was showing a temperature rise in the cargo compartment, the pilots decided the best course of action was to attempt to land at the Ferihegy International Airport.
While the landing was successful, a spokesman told TVN24 that the incident had been down to a simple failure of the temperature device. ...
