Bronislaw Komorowski was today inaugurated as Poland’s new President.

In his speech, the fourth president since the collapse of communism thanked the nine million voters who elected him into power and stated that he is ready to tackle the challenges that face him.

“Poles have to look to the future without fear and apprehension. The twenty years of transformations [since 1989] have assured that we are now living in a free, sovereign and safe country.” ...
