Tusk's reign so far has evoked mixed opinions
Donald Tusk and his government marked 1,000 days in office on August 11 with a mixed appraisal from pundits.
The prime minister, whose government took office in 2007 following the victory of his Civic Platform (PO) party in the general election, promised to bring sweeping changes to a Poland that had grown tired of the bickering and scandals that had hallmarked the previous Law and Justice (PiS) government.
