Lower Silesia receives more funds

Extra funds are being pumped into the region
Poland’s Ministry of Interior has provided a further PLN 4,800,000 to Lower Silesian authorities to help combat the damage caused by the recent floods.
At present, investigations are still on-going as to how much damage the area has suffered and according to the Ministry’s spokesperson Malgozata Wozniak, repairs costing up to PLN 20,000 will be covered. However buildings with damage in excess of that amount will be further assessed, and may be demolished.
The region has so far received PLN 14 mln worth of aid. ...
