Samuel Eto’o terrorised the Polish defence
A masterclass in the art of striking from Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o led to another heavy defeat for the Polish national side, as they went down 3-0 in Szczecin this Wednesday night. On top of the 6-0 defeat to Spain in Murcia prior to the World Cup, this now means the side has conceded nine goals without reply, and gone over four matches since last scoring.
The gulf in class on Wednesday was possibly even more embarrassing than the Murcia massacre – at least Spain went on to be world champions.
