Chernobyl is drawing tourists from krakow
Twenty four years after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, it seems that Poles are keen to discover exactly what happened there for themselves, with a growing number showing interest in a new tour operating from Krakow.
According to a report in Krakow newspaper Dziennik Polski, as many as six groups have left the city this year to visit the former nuclear plant and the number of enquiries shows no sign of slowing down.
In addition to a guided tour of the infamous Reactor 4 and a visit to the Scientific Centre, customers have the opportunity to meet people who have decided to re-locate back to their old homes after evacuating almost quarter of a century ago.
