The woman had 0.2 percent alcohol in her bloodstream
A woman in Krakow on the run from the law was found and arrested after police were alerted to her flat by the sound of her crying children.
Neighbours were forced to call the authorities after being kept awake for several hours by her babies as the mother (name withheld) lay in bed drunk.
After being woken by the officers, she initially refused them entrance, but eventually opened the door when firefighters were called for assistance.
“As soon as the firefighters arrived to break down the door, the lady opened it. But at first glance it was obvious that she was very drunk. She was later shown to have 0.2 percent alcohol in her bloodstream,” said police spokesman Dariusz Nowak.
