An estimated PLN 28 bln will be spent improving the lines
Poland’s energy lines belonging to major energy providers are in need of an overhaul, according to survey data released by the Energy Regulatory Office (URE). According to the data, major energy providers plan to invest over PLN 28 bln up until 2015 in order to improve the safety of the way energy is delivered to its consumers.
“The energy infrastructure in Poland is not one of the newest,” says URE media spokesperson Agnieszka Glosniewska. According to Glosniewska, the results show that between 2008 and 2030, Poland’s major energy firms will spend around PLN 135 bln in order to improve the safety of electrical distribution.
