Varsovians are only half as devout as the rest of Poland according to a survey cited in the Życie Warszawy daily. While 65 percent of the population regularly attends mass, only half as many worship in the capital, the Centre for Social Attitudes Research (OSSA) found. And although Warsaw is a city of believers, they often find themselves at odds with the church. The paper claims the results on moral attitudes to be of greatest concern.
