Politicians to play charity soccer

MEPs Ryszard Czarnecki is one of the politicians taking part in the charity event
A number of politicians are set to play in a charity football tournament in Warsaw’s Polonia Stadium, with the proceeds going to the south-west town of Bogatynia which was hit heavily by the recent floods.
Four teams will take part; Civic Platform (PO), Law and Justice (PiS), Democratic Alliance (SLD) and Polish Peasant’s Party (PSL) - the winners going on to play the ‘Gorski Eagles Eleven’ - a mixture of old professional Polish players from the 1970’s.
Those pulling on the boots include Ryszard Kalisz and Jerzy Wenderlich (SLD), Roman Kosecki (PO) and MEPs Ryszard Czarnecki and Marek Siwiec. ...
