Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski stepped into a diplomatic fray in late November, telephoning Rupert Murdoch, head of News Corporation, over defamatory remarks about Poles in an American sitcom.
Sparks flew after a show was screened on Murdoch’s Fox TV network containing remarks Sikorski said were “historically inaccurate and deeply vilifying” to Poles.
