A man from Kalisz has been detained by police suspected of trafficking newborn babies.
According to reports, the man (unnamed) used the internet to hunt for unwanted babies, and women who wanted a child but were unable to conceive.
After arranging a figure somewhere between PLN 30-70,000, he would trade the children, taking several thousand zlotys as commission. Police believe he is guilty of 12 separate cases.
