Irving has been banned from giving his tour of Auschwitz
David Irving has been warned by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum that he will not be allowed to give a tour of the former death camps.
The controversial historian, who was imprisoned in 2006 for Holocaust denial, is currently in Poland leading a tour around major WWII sites and has already visited the Treblinka extermination camp with his group.
“David Irving cannot lead a tour group at Auschwitz because he is not licensed,” says Bartosz Bartyzel, director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
“He can visit the museum, like anyone else, but we will watch him closely and if he starts telling lies about the Holocaust, we will take action.” ...
