"The deficit may amount to more than PLN 100 bln" says Rostowski
The public finance deficit in 2010 may amount to more than PLN 100 bln, according to Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski. In an interview with radio TOK FM, Rostowski said that this information has been common knowledge since the beginning of the year.
“Everyone knows that the public finance deficit in 2010 will be a little more than PLN 100 bln,” Rostowski said.
Economists have stated that deficit is increasing, and that lowering it from last year’s 7.1 percent GDP to 6.9 percent this year, will be impossible.
