Filip Rdesinki, head of Poznan’s Radio Merkury, is embroiled in disputes with Treasury Minister Aleksander Grad, and even with Radio Merkury itself and threatening others with legal action, reports Gazeta Poznan. Whether Rdesinski remains as head of the public radio station depends on a decision to be made this Thursday by the National Radio and Television Council (KRRiTV), which oversees the affairs of public broadcasters in Poland.Rdesinski, who was appointed to the position thanks to the backing of a coalition Law and Justice (PiS) and Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) representatives on the Council, has, since his appointment, employed a series of new advisors, fired independent journalis ...
