Desperate times have called for desperate measures
With finding a good job as hard as it’s ever been, one man has come up with an inventive way of quite literally getting in potential employers’ faces.
After sending out an estimated 1,000 CVs to various firms and businesses, Pawel Izykowski, a resident of Warsaw, decided to go the extra mile and hire out four billboards on which to advertise himself.
“These posters hopefully show my determination to find a job. It shows that I have strong incentive and ambition,” he says.
Featuring a passport-style photo and information such as contact details qualifications in both Polish and English, the board space cost Izykowski PLN 3,000, but he insists that it’s money well spent.
