The discovery of what looks like a gun or a knife has led to new questions
Investigators searching for a Sopot woman who went missing in July have a new lead after the discovery of CCTV footage that appears to show man with what could be a gun or knife following the 19-year old.
In the film a man in shorts walks not far behind Iwona Wieczorek in the early hours of July 17 in Sopot. Stuffed in his back pocket is an object experts have described as a weapon.
“In the film it is clear there is a hidden object in the waistline of his shorts pointing downwards; all the indications are that he is carrying a weapon,” said Krzysztof Rutkowski, a private detective working on the case.
Mr Rutkowski added that it could be either pistol or a large knife.
