Palys' behaviour has come to the attention of party colleagues
Andrzej Palys, MP for the Polish Peasants Party (PSL), made the news this week after stumbling out of a meeting in Warsaw looking a bit worse for wear and clambering into somebody else’s car.
Speaking to Radio Kielce a few days later, he claimed “I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. People are just looking for a topic over which to create problems.” He added that he was merely suffering from “a lack of eloquence” when the incident took place.
Fellow PSL MP Janusz Piechocinski said, “He not only hurt himself but his friends and family that trusted him too. We need to help him and give him a chance to get back to normality.” ...
