Reports of drinking and wild parties have led to accusations
A police training academy has come under scrutiny after reports of wild drunken parties, escort agencies and cadets graduating regardless of exam results.
The academy, located in the north-east town of Szczytno, recently made the headlines when it was reported that 200 police officers were allowed to sit their test, despite a whopping 88 percent of them failing the preceding seven-month training course.
“I graduated from the training school in 2003,” says one anonymous officer from Szczecin. “But I didn’t actually pass the final exam, in fact only about seven people did pass it in total.”
