Billions are lost each year despite the government's pledges
The government has been slammed by the Polish Employers’ Association for making businesses fork out billions on unneeded bureaucracy.
According to figures from the Ministry of Economics, pointless red tape and bureaucracy costs Polish firms approximately PLN 70 bln each year - a figure that could be drastically reduced.
Speaking at a press conference this week, chairman of the association Andrzej Malinowski said that he is doing all he can to get new deregulatory measures put in place, something that Civic Platform promised it would do if it got into power three years ago.
