The fire service is now investigating the allegations

A group of fire-fighters in Augustow have decided to take a stand against their commander after being constantly insulted and greeted with “Heil Hitler” during shifts.

The staff, have become so fed up with the alleged taunts, such as being called “gays”, “ogres” and even told in English to “f**k off”, that they have bandied together in order to put an end to it once and for all.

According to TVN, in an official letter of complaint sent to the top level of the fire service, it was stated that:
“The actions of the named Commander is damaging the reputation of the State Fire Service, so as both citizens and employees we wish to put an end to any further negative conduct ...
