Serial prostitute killer caught

Police in Upper Silesia have arrested a suspected serial killer who had been targeting prostitutes around the towns of Katowice and Tychy.

The 36-year-old homeless man was picked up following the murder of a prostitute around the night of November 10. The 50-year-old woman was reported missing by her friends after she failed to return.

A police search later found her body in woodland near a main road.

An examination revealed that her body bore signs of sexual intercourse and that she had been strangled by the killer’s bare hands.
