The father of Columbus may have been Polish
A new biography has hit the shelves claiming that Christopher Columbus was the son of Polish King Wladyslaw III and a Portuguese noblewoman.
Author Manuel Rosa says he has proof that the history of the explorer, whose four voyages led to the European colonisation of the ‘New World’, includes a number of lies - one of which being the true identity of his father.
Respected ex-Dean of the University of Lisbon Prof. Joaquim Verissimo Serrao, states in the book’s preface that he “agrees 100 percent” with the findings.
