E. Coli has been found in exported Polish meat
Poland meat exporters have come under fire from the Ukrainian Committee of Veterinary Medicine after claims that E. Coli has been found in various meat products.
The news comes just one week after approximately 20 tons of Polish chicken breasts exported to Slovakia were said to contain salmonella.
However Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer in Poland Krzysztof Jazdzewski has expressed his surprise over the new allegations, claiming that his department has yet to receive any official information from Ukrainian authorities.
According to newspaper ‘Kommersant-Ukraine’, the price of imported pork is, on average, 5.2 percent lower than the price of pork in the Ukraine.
