The victim claims mobile phones are to blame for his cancer
A man suffering from a brain tumour hopes to make legal history by successfully suing phone companies for causing him cancer.
The man, known only as Krzysztof, has decided to take the Polish arm of Sony Ericsson and mobile Polish phone operator Polkomtel to court after discovering he had cancer when he went to see a doctor three years ago about minor injuries sustained in a car crash.
“I was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment and while I was there one of the doctors told me the cancer could have been caused by the frequent use of my mobile phone,” he said.
