New timetables combined with the harsh winter have left everybody in the dark
Railway bosses had their end of year bonuses scrubbed owing to the chaos on the railways caused by the introduction of a new timetable at the start of the month.
Cezary Grabarczyk, infrastructure minister, said the railway chiefs needed to be “punished for the mess” they had created.
Cutting to the chase, Mikolaj Karpinski, a spokesman for the infrastructure ministry, said the “three presidents of the PKP Group have had their annual bonuses withdrawn owing to the mess with the new timetable”.
