A Pole has been arrested in Ohio after a series of bank robberies - while disguised as a black man.

Konrad Zdzierak had American authorities scratching their heads after getting the mask specially constructed so as to hide his identity.

During his spree the Pole robbed a total of five banks and one pharmacy and, according to reports on TVN, now faces a potential 35 years in prison.

However Christopher R. McDowell, the lawyer representing Zdzierak, claims that his client suffers from schizophrenia and says; “Perhaps he thought the acts would go unpunished.”
