An increasing number of Poles are getting in on the online banking act
A new study shows that an increasing number of Poles are beginning to login to online banking.
According to figures in a report presented to the Polish Bank Association (ZPB), around 9 mln people at the end of the third quarter of 2010 were using the internet as a means to control their money.
If the trend continues, then figures look set to reach the ZPB’s predictions of 10 mln users by the end of the year.
In total, the report estimates that 15.7 mln accounts are currently active (accounts dealing with at least four transactions per month).
