The Poddebice council and Mr Kacprzak are now trying to find some middle ground
A local council in Lodzkie have demolished half a man’s garage to make way for their new roundabout after he refused to sell his land.
41-year-old Krzysztof Kacprzak of Poddebice was shocked to return home from work to find workers ripping down his property without his consent.
“I was initially told that my land would be needed in order for the construction to be completed but I didn’t want to sell it and said so,” says Mr Kacprzak. “I honestly thought that was going to be the end of the whole debacle.”
