After a minor, early set back, Justyna Kowalczyk powered away from the field, winning the Tour de Ski title - the first skier to do so twice in succession. The peerless Pole dominated the final stages of the event, winning the title with over 1 min 20 sec to her nearest competitor. Victory in the event has also put her in pole position in the World Cup, particularly as her main rival failed to attend the series. Kowalczyk now sits 511 points ahead of Norway’s Marit Bjoergen.
