Wojcik’s training license has been rescinded by the Polish FA (PZPN)
Janusz Wojcik, one of the most important figures in Polish football, and an ex-MP, is in deep trouble over match fixing allegations and of involvement in bribes totalling PLN 1.65 mln. As a result, Wojcik’s training license was unanimously rescinded by a meeting of the Polish FA (PZPN) on Tuesday this week.
The move came as something of a surprise as only a week earlier, the PZPN’s licensing committee had returned Wojcik’s license to him. The manager applied for a new license immediately after prosecutors removed their ban on his working in football once their investigations had been completed.
