PLN 4.2 bln is wasted as employees drive to work each year
Polish drivers in the seven largest cities cost the economy PLN 4.2 bln each year through being sat stuck in traffic according to a new study.
Consulting firm Deloitte, authors of the report, teamed up with online route-planner targeo.pl and took into consideration factors such as the number of employees in each city and salary variations.
“It was simple. We calculated the amount of time that drivers waste sat in traffic jams on their way to work each day,” said Rafal Mikolajczak, CEO of Indigo, the operator of Targeo.pl.
