Items such as milk may contain the wrong ingredients on the packaging
A new report has shown that as much as five percent of food products in Poland are not what they seem, with many manufacturers printing false ingredients on their labels.
The study, conducted by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, looked at over 5,000 different grocery goods including meat, honey, olive oil, eggs, honey and milk to see what each product contained.
The results showed that five percent of the products featured in the study contained ingredients different to those listed on the box, the most common example being butter.
