The man used a meat cleaver to attack his friend

A man faces prison after attacking his friend with a meat cleaver and claiming he was “trying to exorcise the devil”.

The 38-year-old from the south-western town of Dzierzoniow had been on a drinking session with his colleague when he suddenly went for him with the blade.

Police were alerted to the scene and the victim was rushed to hospital.

If found guilty the man faces life for attempted murder. ...
