The 84-year-old was refused access to the toilet
An 84-year-old man from Warsaw is seeking PLN 15,000 compensation after being refused the use of the toilet in two different banks.
The incident occurred two years ago in the capital’s Blue Tower, when the retired engineer was told that the restrooms were for staff only.
“The result was a desperate old man who has suffered three heart attacks being forced to relieve himself outside. He wet his clothes and he felt too ashamed to get the tram home.”
If the plaintiff wins, it could set a new precedent forcing public institutions such as banks to allow customers to use their toilets. ...
