PKO's elections take place this year
PKO BP, Poland’s largest bank, has announced it will be holding its presidential elections later this year.
Current president Zbigniew Jagiello, whose term expires on May 19, has already stated that he will be in the running, and is hoping to be re-elected back into the position.
Speaking in a recent interview, Jagiello was full of praise for the current board and made it clear that he believes his job at PKO is still not yet done.
“There are no serious reasons why the board should be changed. It has been working extremely well up until this point and has achieved good results. It has been together for a year now and has done exactly what has been expected of it,” he said.
