National coach Smuda is fuming over Wojciechowski's lack of cooperation
A potentially damaging row has broken out between Franciszek Smuda, Polish team manager, and Jozef Wojciechowski, the outspoken owner of Polonia Warszawa. The flashpoint is Sunday’s unofficial friendly with Moldavia, for which the club is not obliged to release its players. Smuda has been angered by the Polonia owner’s stance, saying, “If that’s the case, they needn’t bother coming at all.”
