The game has proved so popular stocks have run out
A new Monopoly-style board game based during Communist times is to soon hit the shelves.
The game, called ‘Queue’ (‘Kolejka’), requires players to collect various household goods like food and furniture and uses features such as skipping the line due to ‘Party connections’.
According to the game’s creator, Karol Madaj, one of the key aims is to help people learn the act of waiting patiently in line. “The game not only makes players understand shopping during Communism but will also teach them what queuing is like - something people seem to have forgotten.”
