A 14-year-old boy in Gliwice has been arrested for torturing and beating his sick elderly grandfather.

The boy, known as Patryk, is suspected of physically abusing the Alzheimer sufferer over a long period of time, however, the truth was only recently discovered when a video on the boy’s phone was accidently viewed by another family member.

“There were signs that something was wrong and seeing the video clip has confirmed our previous suspicions,” one family member, who wishes to remain anonymous, told TVN. “The old man is sick with Alzheimer's Disease and does not remember what has happened to him. Luckily we have recorded evidence on the phone.”
